It has no idea what its public face is without the Trek name. It has no notion of the theme(s) it wants to put forward. What is apparent, noticable, and is an obvious bump that I hope that Creation can smooth out over time is the fact that its messaging is openly confused. Certainly the pandemic has changed a few things, but I dare say it's not that noticable at first glance. The people that came are the same sort of fan that always comes. I think that a lot of people might have been feeling things out a bit, but yesterday and today felt pretty normal in that regard. The cosplayers are there, though the first couple of days were kind of light on that.
I don't really know that "hollow" quite fits. Very entertaining yet I understand the lost license frustration.
